Mr. Nate Silverman

Mr. Nate Silverman has more than ten years experience in business development in the Pacific Northwest and California working with entrepreneurs, start-ups, and rapidly growing companies. Over the past three years at the Washington Technology Center (WTC) in Seattle, he co-founded and managed four angel investor groups - the Northwest Energy Angel Group, the Bellingham Angels, the Apple Seed Network and the Columbia Investor Group. During his tenure at WTC, he reviewed more than 300 strategic plans as initial deal screener for angel investors. He also served as a coach for entrepreneurs seeking seed capital from angel groups. Since 2005, he also supervised an SBA-supported program in Washington State to help small businesses compete for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) research grants.

Previously, Nate served as Program Manager for the Alliance of Angels in Seattle. He helped over 200 management teams seek investment opportunities with angel investors. He also authored industry analysis and research reports used by angel investors during their investment decisions. Nate earned an MBA from the University of Washington, focusing on entrepreneurial marketing, and a BA in economics from the University of California, San Diego.
